The contact less smart card also fanished as one of the security options in the Security manager, now i have 3 green lights left instead of 4. The contactless smartcard device should not appear in Device Manager, except when it is enabled by the software to read a card. When it is enabled, it creates a radio frequency field to energize the contactless card so it can read it; so it is off except when specifically reading a contactless card. It should appear in the software and there should be a 'light' for it. Unless you have plans to use a contactless card for pba, I'm not sure you need to worry about it all that much.
